A message from Dry Creek Fire & Rescue

Good morning, we know most of you are waking up after a long night. There are still several power outages on the Tippah County Power System. County Road 617 has a tree down over a power line and will be blocked until removal. The temps and humidity will be high this week. Our fire station is on Prentiss County Power, and has electricity and a shower. Those without power are welcomed to come to the station and use our facilities to charge phones, cool off a while, or even shower and cook on a first come first serve basis. Those on medical devices within our district that might need assistance, please call our non-emergency number at (662) 720-6424 and we will assist however we can! Please remember that some trees will remain weak due to the high winds and rains, so remain cautious when driving through wooded areas or when around trees.
