Captain Harold Williams

Today we remember Captain Harold Williams. Papa Smurf, as he was affectionately known, and his wife Jane, were staples at Dry Creek Fire Department for years. Both were synonymous with starting the first responder program at Dry Creek and in Tippah County. Harold and Jane were a voice of reason when making decisions, and calm and collected in an emergency. While the passing of such a great human being is often sad, today we rejoice with Captain Williams in being reuniting with his wife, Jane. Our prayers are with the family and friends during the services today, and in the time ahead.
