It’s the season for giving…

Writer: DRY CREEK FIRE & RESCUEDRY CREEK FIRE & RESCUE

Sharkey County, specifically the small community of Jacksonville, MS near Rolling Fork was hit by a tornado earlier this week. In an area covered with single-wide trailers, those homes were destroyed and those families lost everything. Those families had children, and this is Christmas time. There are no presents for those babies, no jackets for the chilly nights, no baby formula, etc. If you're reading this and would like to donate anything to these folks during this especially hard season, please send a message on our Facebook page and we will stage the items at our station until we can deliver to Sharkey County. Some needs are : water, children and adult coats, diapers and formula, new toys for Christmas gifts, and anything else that could help. Please consider donating to this worthy cause.
