Remembering Gene Pannell

In Loving Memory of Gene Pannell

EOW – October 9, 2022

Today, we pause to remember a remarkable man—Gene Pannell.

Three years have passed since he left this world, and left behind a fire station full of broken hearts. His absence is still deeply felt in every alarm that rings, every call answered, and every quiet moment in between.

Gene was more than a firefighter. He was a brother, a mentor, a steady presence, and a friend to all who had the honor of serving beside him. The firehouse hasn’t been the same without his laughter, his wisdom, and the courage he brought to every shift.

Though the weight of his loss still lingers, we carry forward—each day, each call, each act of service—with his spirit guiding us. We press on in his honor, striving to live up to the example he set.

You are missed, Gene.

You are remembered.

And you are loved—always.
