Woods Fire

12/16/23 0654 AM: Engine 1, Rescue 7, and Truck 6 responded to the report of a large woods fire in a wooded area off CR 601. Dry Creek deployed foot crews that battled the fire and advanced fire lines for most of the terrain. Without capabilities to reach some steeper terrain, Command pulled crews from the fire line and notified the MS Forestry Commission. No injuries or structure fires were reported.
