Did you know?

Did you know that it costs between $500 and possibly over $1500 per emergency response? Fuel, man hours, equipment usage and maintenance all factor in everytime a truck rolls! That's not to mention equipping firefighters (nearly $6000 per person) buying fire engines ( costs $300,000 plus) insurance, training, etc. Dry Creek receives $12,500 a year that is guaranteed and that funding is closely regulated. That's why we have to fundraise! Every time you buy a $12 BBQ plate, walk (or run) through our haunted house, etc, you are helping to fund emergency services and possibly save someone's home, or their life! So thank you...for supporting the work our department tries to do.
