Special thanks to Tippah Electric Power for a fast response to a power outage this morning effecting around 800 people in our area. For reference: our fire district is split between Tippah and Prentiss County Power customers. In the event of a Tippah County outage, our station will open as a warming shelter. In the event of an outage for Prentiss County customers for an extended time the department can provide generators at the station as well. Response to homes for persons with electric medical devices takes priority in an extended emergency. Please call non-emergency (662) 720-6424 for assistance.
