...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 1 PM MONDAY TO 7 AM CDT TUESDAY... * WHAT...East winds 20 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph expected. * WHERE...North Mississippi and portions of West Tennessee. * WHEN...From 1 PM Monday to 7 AM CDT Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Heavy rainfall associated with the remnants of Hurricane Ida combined with gusty winds may result in trees down and some power outages may result. Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects.

A warning is issued when a hazardous weather or hydrologic event is occurring, imminent or likely.

A watch is used when the risk of a hazardous weather or hydrologic event has increased significantly, but its occurrence, location or timing is still uncertain.
